Habitations Val-Martin presented at the World Green Building Council

On June 7, Mélanie Pitre, our Sustainable Design, Director, will attend the “Building Lasting Change Conference” at the “WorldGBC Conference” in Toronto, the largest and most important annual event in the green building industry. This is the 10th anniversary of this conference, which focuses on achieving the international goals for carbon emissions. Melanie is on a list of invited Canadian and international experts to talk about green building design and retrofit, government policy, real estate finance, market transformation and technology innovation.

During this conference, Mélanie will present our ongoing project: Habitations Val-Martin. This innovative project leverages the appropriation of space by its users as a decisive vector in its design and aims to have a positive influence on the surrounding neighbourhood and its community. This long-term project, developed with a goal of LEED ND v4 certification, includes several integrated strategies, including two Integrated Design Process (IDP) that helped align the project vision and articulate sustainable development goals.

This conference will be a great opportunity for Ædifica to demonstrate its know-how in integrated design to more than 200 industry experts.
