Turning Vision into Projects

Since becoming part of Ædifica, the Urban Planning team has led a number of flagship projects that highlight its strategic, human-centered, and sustainable approach.

  • City of Laval – Integrated Planning
Committed to integrated planning for the City of Laval, the team is actively involved in a project focused on the city’s strategic sectors. The goal is to harmonize urban development with infrastructure, public facilities, environmental protection, and the enhancement of natural areas. This ambitious project, now underway, will help guide future decisions on the city’s territorial development.
  • Greater Montreal – Revitalizing Industrial Spaces
Contribution to the revitalization of industrial spaces in Greater Montreal. Our team has contributed to the development of industrial land revitalization programs for the agglomerations of Montreal and Longueuil, the City of Laval, and other regional county municipalities within the metropolitan area. These initiatives pursue a dual objective: make more land available by easing existing constraints, but also to support the economic growth of Greater Montreal by stimulating key industrial sectors.
  • Thetford Mines – Redeveloping a Brownfield Site
Driven by recognized multidisciplinary expertise, our team was commissioned to develop the master plan for the sustainable redevelopment of a strategic industrial brownfield in Thetford Mines. Located just steps from downtown, this emblematic site offers a unique potential for conversion. We are currently shaping an ambitious vision that combines economic vitality, land enhancement, and sustainability. This structuring project aims to create a favorable framework for real estate investment while meeting the community’s goals for urban revitalization and responsible development.

To date, the Urban Planning team has supported over fifty projects of varying sizes and types. Beyond securing regulatory approvals, they provide strategic guidance in pre-development, streamlining project timelines, maximizing feasibility, and enhancing long-term value. A distinctive service that streamlines project development, supporting every key stage, from the initial idea to completion, while maximizing feasibility and long-term value.

Across all initiatives, the team demonstrates a talent for anticipating major territorial transformations while delivering practical, tailored solutions that respond to the unique needs of each community.
