From its conception, the project aimed for LEED Gold certification (LEED Canada-CS, 2009 version), reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable development. The building features a high-performance curtain wall, essential for optimizing its energy efficiency. A green corridor runs through the outdoor parking lot, acting as a "rain garden" by capturing part of the building's rainwater. This approach is complemented by careful landscaping, aiming to create a pleasant and shaded environment for users. Integrated energy efficiency measures result in a 26% cost savings in building performance compared to a reference standard, notably through the use of efficient lighting fixtures and maximization of natural light. Water consumption is reduced by 35% thanks to the selection of high-efficiency plumbing fixtures.

Building T's architectural expression is both contemporary and refined, accentuated by the wooden canopies framing the main entrances. This ambitious project not only optimized the use of the Centropolis site according to Ivanhoé Cambridge's profitability criteria but also allowed Aedifica to establish a solid business relationship with this major client, thereby consolidating our expertise in sustainable and high-performing construction.
