A graduate of the University of Montreal with a bachelor's and master's degree in architecture, Benoît Laurion joined the Ædifica team in 2007. A member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec since 2010, he is a pillar of the company thanks to more than 20 years of experience in the field.

As Director of Architecture at Ædifica since 2023, Benoît stands out for his extensive experience in managing and carrying out complex architectural projects such as the expansion of the emergency room at Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital, the development of the central block of the Société de développement Angus, and the Canoë residential complex in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. He has actively participated in the design and development of a multitude of projects, covering institutional, hospital, collective housing, and mixed-use environments, as well as industrial, urban development, and corporate and commercial space redevelopment projects. His expertise and holistic approach cover the entire architectural process, from initial design to construction supervision, including technical management and quality control.

Benoît is known for his ability to navigate diverse, demanding, and complex projects, collaborating effectively with all stakeholders. He excels at catalyzing the efforts of multidisciplinary teams by reconciling regulatory, technical, and aesthetic requirements while scrupulously respecting budgetary constraints and deadlines.
