Maude Pintal is a committed designer driven by a passion for creating thoughtful, sustainable spaces. Since joining Ædifica in 2009, she began her career in interior and commercial design before specializing in sustainable development. She holds several professional accreditations, including WELL AP and LEED AP.

Her professional journey is marked by large-scale projects, including several of the firm’s most iconic achievements: Technopôle Angus, Wilder, Maison Symphonique, and Huppé — Canada’s first multi-residential project to achieve WELL Gold certification. These experiences have allowed her to refine her expertise and deepen her mastery of sustainable design strategies through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Her mission is to promote the practical integration of strategies focused on sustainability, health, and well-being at every stage of a building’s life cycle. Whether through certification programs such as LEED, WELL, BCZ, SITES, BREEAM, HQE, or LBC, or through tailored approaches based on performance indicators, Maude ensures that each project receives precise and relevant sustainability guidance.

A skilled communicator and seasoned team leader, Maude excels in coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders. As Director, she leads Ædifica’s sustainability team, ensuring that each project meets the highest environmental standards while responding to the needs of clients and users alike.

Visionary and determined, Maude is a true agent of change. She brings an innovative approach to embedding sustainability into architectural and urban design, actively contributing to a more responsible and environmentally conscious future.
