A new major project was recently unveiled by Rachel Julien. Canoë is a major and inclusive real estate project for Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. It is intended to be a vehicle for change in the experience of neighbourhoods and communities. The project aims to create an open living environment that will focus on exchange, innovation, and appropriation of public spaces, and has as its backdrop a leading-edge sustainable development approach focused on the needs of tomorrow. This mixed project is intended to accommodate approximately 1,000 housing units (condo, accès condo program, rental and social and community housing, in partnership with Bâtir son quartier) organized around an urban promenade that will enhance the relationship between Canoe's residents, neighbourhood residents and visitors.
