IBM Client Innovation Centre

IBM CS Langlois 02

The central atrium, an entirely glass structure, is a remarkable architectural element that highlights the building's main facade. This bright and airy space offers a stimulating yet relaxing setting, promoting interaction and leading to a pleasant outdoor terrace. From this central axis unfolds an open bistro as well as several private rooms designed for meetings, training sessions, and confidential phone calls.

The open-concept layout is energized by the integration of self-supporting glass panels, cleverly used both as writing surfaces and as dividers for collaborative spaces. These elements, combined with graphic solutions, serve as both directional and functional tools. This IBM project stands out for its consideration of human needs, with the inclusion of a parental room, a prayer room, and showers. Drawing inspiration from IBM's brand image, graphic standards, and design criteria, Ædifica has created an inspiring and stimulating place that fully embodies the company's new culture: Live, Play, Work.
