At the heart of this plan lies an integrated, long-term vision for the territory. The goal was to design a city where mobility is fluid and inclusive, favoring pedestrian, bicycle, and public transit. The development is tailored to address climate change impacts, integrating innovative solutions for stormwater management and expanding permeable spaces. Universal accessibility is also paramount, featuring amenities designed for individuals with reduced mobility.

The design process was both rigorous and participatory. It commenced with the creation of a master mobility plan, followed by the collaborative development of an urban design concept with municipal stakeholders. Citizen engagement was fostered through workshops, ensuring their perspectives were incorporated. 3D modeling of the chosen scenario facilitated visualization and comprehension.

The methodology emphasized collaboration and iterative development. A territorial and mobility diagnostic study assessed the existing conditions, while identifying key issues and priorities. Strategic vision and guidelines were established to provide a clear framework. Development scenarios were then collaboratively refined through citizen workshops. Finally, the optimal scenario was selected, with 3D models produced to aid understanding and integration.

Our firm's multidisciplinary expertise, combining urban planning, mobility, urban design, and environmental management, was crucial. This approach enabled innovative solutions for stormwater management and sustainable mobility, enhancing the quality of life.

The outcomes are significant. The plan has provided a clear vision for Saint-Sauveur's future development. Mobility infrastructure has been improved, flood risks reduced through stormwater infiltration, and public spaces redesigned for inclusivity and greening.

This project is distinguished by its sustainable approach, integrating stormwater solutions, promoting soft mobility, and utilizing sustainable materials. Citizen engagement ensured community buy-in, positioning Saint-Sauveur as a model of urban and environmental resilience.
