The renovated 2,530 sq. ft. space has been designed to provide a warm, soothing environment, making the most of natural light and views over the inner courtyard. The layout is designed to optimize patient visibility and comfort, while promoting collaborative work between the medical and paramedical teams.

The Preston Robb Centre offers specialized tertiary and quaternary interventions, thus avoiding numerous hospitalizations or emergency room visits. Care is provided by a highly qualified nursing team, working in close collaboration with specialist physicians and health professionals from the Neuro and the McGill University Integrated Health Network.

This project presented a number of major challenges, including coordinating the work in an active environment and resuming construction following the bankruptcy of the original contractor. Thanks to rigorous management and the commitment of all stakeholders, the work was successfully completed, despite a six-month delay and a budget adjustment.

Today, the Preston Robb Neurological Day Centre is a place of healthcare innovation, combining compassion, clinical expertise and thoughtful design to offer patients a care pathway better adapted to their reality.
