CNMONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC, CANADA
Canadian National Railway wanted to redesign its head office in Montréal to reflect its corporate culture and vision, which were rapidly evolving. Thanks to stringent planning and a thorough analysis of furnishing standards, its floor capacity was increased by 40%. The new space is brighter, more dynamic and more conducive to interaction, exchange and collaboration. A bistro was opened, and meeting areas were set up, as well as conference rooms for discussions and work sessions requiring peace and quiet. Natural lighting was maximized by lowering partitions between workstations in the open area. The visual treatment of the space is reminiscent of the rail, where all points converge on the horizon.
