Complexe JC PerreaultSaint-Roch-de-l’Achigan, Québec, Canada
The new 75,000-ft2 Montcalm science, sports and educational centre, known as Complexe JC Perreault, is now a key venue in Saint-Roch-de-l’Achigan. In collaboration with specialized engineers, Ædifica took up the challenge of building two ice rinks in accordance with National Hockey League standards, featuring bleachers with a seating capacity of 1,000 and 300, respectively. Requiring an investment of over $18 million, the ultra-modern new sports infrastructure supports the development of student athletes, elite and amateur ice sports as well as the development of advanced cognitive measuring and training techniques for these athletes.
Complexe JC Perreault also features state-of-the-art structures and facilities to host large-scale events, exhibitions and shows. Permanent boxes, an overhead walkway for members of the media, a hall with a seating capacity of up to 3,000—our teams thought of every detail to respond to the technical challenges posed by the arena's double role.
