Ædifica welcomes Mélanie Pitre as Director, Sustainable Design
The firm is pleased to announce the arrival of Mélanie Pitre, a construction engineer specializing in sustainable design, as Director, Sustainable Design, in the Architecture group. Mélanie Pitre has almost 10 years’ experience in new and existing sustainable construction. She has coordinated many LEED-EB certification projects in Montréal, including the Centre CDP Capital, Place Ville Marie and 1000 De la Gauchetière, in addition to incorporating LEED Canada-NC sustainable development strategies for the residential Square Benny complex in Montréal, Sûreté du Québec stations and Canada Post distribution centres. She has also worked on various LEED-CI and LEED-CE certification projects.
Mélanie Pitre’s appointment reaffirms Ædifica green vision and its desire to apply the best sustainable design practices to all the firm’s fields of expertise and projects.
