Ædifica is looking for an accounting assistant to join our team!


Monitor the accounts payable approval process and ensure that invoices are properly recorded in the accounting system

Monitor supplier accounts in accordance with company practices and prepare a weekly list to ensure compliance with agreed upon payment deadlines

Process each day the payments received by cheque and bank transfers, and ensure they are properly recorded in the accounting system

Carry out allocation and accounting tasks related to credit cards and expense reports

Act as the primary contact for suppliers and clients for the purpose of validating accounts payable and receivable balances

Support administrative activities such as accounting, procurement and subscription follow-ups

Provide administrative assistance for benefits monitoring processes (HR)

Update various financial analysis reports

Assist the accounting team with any related tasks

Participate in the ongoing improvement of work methods and procedures to optimize quality and efficiency


College diploma (SSVD or technical DCS) in accounting or other relevant field

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position

Proficiency in Excel

Knowledge of accounting software (ERP)

General knowledge of the accounting cycle

Rigour, thoroughness, adaptability and organizational skills

Proven ability to work in a team and achieve results

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills

Spoken and written fluency in English and French is essential
